Dr. Andrés Muñoz is surgeon with specialization in gastroenterology – Gastric Surgery and Digestive Endoscopy, with emphasis in Cancer. Expert in laparoscopic gastric surgery (bariatric surgery and anti-reflux surgery).

Dr. Muñoz is a certified gastrointestinal and bariatric surgeon, with extensive experience in general surgery and patients with obesity. Dr. Muñoz is fully bilingual and has performed more than 3,000 surgeries during 20 years of experience.As both director of Gastric Surgery unit for Clinica El Country, and one of the most experienced gastric surgeons in Colombia, he has developed and published many articles that defined how bariatric surgery is performed in Colombia.
